Dinah Zike’s 3-D interactive graphic organizers have been used by educators since she established her publishing and consulting company in 1986. In 2001, McGraw-Hill began incorporating Dinah’s manipulatives into their texts and the term Foldables was coined. It has been estimated that as many as 85-90% of all students in the United States of America will use Dinah’s Foldables at some point in their K-12 education, many through McGraw-Hill Education textbooks.
